Nicholas Oola is a land and property valuer with over9 years’ experience in Road and Energy infrastructure, including surveying, land tenure, analysing markets, inspection of properties, measurement, conducting valuation reports, grievances management, community/ stakeholder engagements, RAP preparation and implementation. He has extensive theoretical and field exposure and has successfully executed various projects in the areas of Uganda National Roads Authority social safeguards (LARMS), Uganda land and policy laws, as well as international performance standards (African Development Bank, IFC, World Bank, and JICA). Nicholas has vast experience working on various national projects including among other: resurveying, mapping of degradation of the Mabira Ecosystem under Ministry of Water and Environment, the valuation of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) for expropriation of land for the proposed Refinery in Buseruka, Critical Oil Roads Project (Hohwa-Nyairongo-Butoole (25KM), Kabaale-Kiziranfumbe (25KM), Kabwoya-Buhuka (42KM) and Hoima-Butiaba-Wanseko (111KM) Road Projects)

Nicholas is a resourceful and cross-functional valuation surveyor with the ability to adapt in different work environments to deliver solutions to a wide range of project needs. He is an innovative thinker, a team player, a problem solver, and facilitator at all levels, with strong analytical skills and works collaboratively with others.

Nicholas holds a Master’s Degree in Public Infrastructure Management, with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Land Economics from Makerere University, Kampala. He is currently enrolled as a Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence (RICS APC) candidate in the United Kingdom. Nicholas is also a member of the Makerere Public Infrastructure Management Consortium (MPIM)
