I began my career in the utility/energy/right-of-way profession as a fieldman for Western Gas Resources where I was responsible for monitoring the company's natural gas pipeline gathering system in Southern Wyoming and Northern Colorado for leaks and incremental maintenance needs as well as keeping up DOT required inspections.
From pipeline operations, I moved to the right-of-way side of utility work after receiving my undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming. I've gained experience in routing, siting, permitting, negotiating for and acquiring multiple forms of land rights for crude oil & natural gas pipelines, high-voltage electric transmission & distribution lines, fiber-optic communication lines, and interstate/state roads.
I also hold an MBA with an emphasis on leadership from Creighton University and am an active member in the Nebraska Chapter of the International Right-of-Way Association where I hold an officer's position as Chapter President and 2-Year Director. I maintain a Real Estate license in the State of Nebraska.
I look forward to new and unique challenges in the right-of-way field.
